HIGHLIGHT OF THE NATIONAL YOUTH POLICY MALAYSIAN
OBJECTIVE
"TO DEVELOP THE YOUTH FOR THE PROSPERITY OF THE NATION "
The development of youths in this national should be based on the following principles:-
PRINCIPLES
I. To uphold the principles of Rukun Negara.
2. To uphold the spirit of solidarity and volunteerism and the principle of autonomy.
3. To develop professional and leadership qualities.
4. To encourgae perticipation in the decision making process of all levels.
5. To develop high moral values and awareness of the importance of persenal health and fitness.
AIMS
The National Youth Policy will establish a youth group that:-
i. are religious
ii. are loyal, patriotics towards the nation and uphold its sovereignty
iii. will uphold the democratic way of life
iv. are disciplined abide by laws of the country
v. are cultured
STRATEGIES
i. education
ii. development of skill
iii. development of leadership qualities
iv. effort in incalcuting soliderity, to upgrade efforts of achieving spirit nationalism
v. to ensure effective involvement in nation building.
