NANING HERITAGE AND HISTORY

This museum is located in the Simpang Empat area, Alor Gajah district. This museum building was once used as the residence and Official Hall of the Naning Penghulu which was first used in 1953 by Dato’ Haji Mohd Shah bin Mohd Said al-Haj, the 18th Naning Penghulu. Now it has been used as the Naning Heritage and History Museum by displaying information related to the history and heritage of Naning for the general public to see. Its existence is also as an educational tourism product that can be utilized and provide benefits to the local community in the Alor Gajah district apart from other nearby heritage sites such as the tomb of Dato’ Dol Said, Megalith Datuk Tua and the Taboh Naning Mosque.
