The ' main house ' is the most important quarters in the architectures of a traditional house. This is where the ' main pillar ' is located. This quarter is the main area but only reserved for the use of families and special guests only.

A throne-like dais is placed here in accordance with the headman's role as a ' small ruler '. Discussion with all the community leaders is held here before all the decisions are determined by the Headman.
