MALAYSIAN ISLAMIC YOUTH FORCE (ABIM)
BRIEF HISTORY
The idea to form the Muslim Youth Organisation of Malaysia (ABIM) came in August 1969 by those who been long involved in the movement of the National Muslim Student Organisation (PKPIM). In August 1971 PKPIM finally formed ABIM during its 19th Annual General Meeting.
The formation of ABIM was able to fulfil the needs Muslim Youth and to assist other Islamic Institutions in existence and also their activities in a more active way for the good of all Muslims in Malaysia and the region.
OBJECTIVES
1. To propagate the idea of Islam in line with the basic teaching of Al-Quranul Karim and Sunah Rasulullah S.A.W
2. To promote the Islamic Dakwah in a progressive way to all levels of the society.
3. To coodinate the whole efforts of the Muslim Youth in order to work together to render assistance and support to uplift the standard of ilfe in all fields including social, education, culture, philosophy and technology.
4. To represent Muslim Youth in local and international conferences.
