Later in the evening, a joget lambak or free dancing function is held. This traditional dancing event is a way for both families to have a bit of fun after a long busy day. Everyone is free to choose his or her dancing partner. Musical instruments used include the violin, gongs and kompang (hand drum). The celebration will go on till the wee hours of the morning or until they have had enough fun for the night.
