As an institution that views itself as heir to many generations of youths, the Malaysian Youth Museum will be a storehouse of knowledge concerning the country’s different youth activities. Comprising a library as well as a documentation Center, the idea behind the museum is to become the main institution to support the research, collection, restoration and preservation of all the valuable heritage passed down with respect to youth organization and their activities, from the past until now. Futuristic elements will also feature among its ideas.

Selected items and artifacts of our heritage will be displayed as visual material. As a long-term strategy, it is hoped that this will increase the appreciation of society, and particularly among youths, bringing about a better understanding and appreciation of the activities and contribution made by youth leaders and organizations in the past, by featuring its most excellent elements.

The essence of these objectives is to promote a spirit of patriotism and a deep love of their country among our citizens, and to promote a responsible attitude towards the development of this country by learning from our history and by holding up examples from the past.
