HISTORY OF THE MUSEUM ESTABLISHMENT

The People’s Museum complex also includes the Transportation Area (Laman Pengangkutan) located in Taman Bunga Merdeka which was established in collaboration with the Malayan Railway (KTM Berhad), Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) and West Malaysia Department of Civil Aviation (DCA). The complex houses the Twin Pioneer CC MK1 Aircraft, registration no. RMAF FM1064 that was used in the 1950s, a coach and Lukut River Railway locomotive, registration no. KTMB 21111, that was used from 1957 to 1988 and also a Fire Engine Mobile of Nubian Thornycrof1 model, registration no. BM3982, that has been used from 1985 to1995.
